Our Mission
Friends of Hungry Valley is dedicated to protecting and preserving public land access for all. Our mission is to advocate for responsible public land use, provide meaningful education, and restore and maintain recreational spaces for the community. We work to keep trails open for the people—not from the people—ensuring that current and future generations can enjoy, explore, and connect with the natural landscapes of Hungry Valley. Through stewardship, outreach, and collaboration, we strive to safeguard public lands as places that belong to everyone.
